Leica Gold Sultan of Brunei 50mm F2 Summicron Shown on Black Paint MP

Leica Sultan of Brunei Lenses

Rumor has it the Sultan of Brunei (known as the richest man in the world) ordered 125 Gold sets of Leica Cameras with Lenses.  Each set is meant as a gift to people fortunate enough to be distinguished guests at the Sultan's palace.  On your last day before you leave the palace, the Sultan has the special Leica gift set placed at your nightstand with a special note indicicating it is a gift from the Sultan of Brunei.

Most of us will not be fortunate enough to be a guest at the Sultan's palace and receive such a wonderful gift.  We acquired the two lens prototypes from Leica.

The lenses are completely gold including the retractable hood on the 50mm lens and lens mounts.  Needless to say, they are absolutely stunning and look great on a Black Paint MP.  Black & Gold, who could argue with this Beautiful combination ?
